Job Details
Park Avenue are currently working with a Local Authority Client in the East Midlands who are looking for an Interim Programme Manager for their Housing Development Team.
The Job
The role will be based around delivering a development and acquisitions programme of market and affordable housing. This includes housing developed through the council's wholly owned housing company, and for the council's housing revenue account.
Key Experience Required:
- To manage a programme of development activity through the various stages of the development process, from inception through to completion.
- To develop and maintain links with agents and developers to generate a programme of new business housing opportunities.
- Establish schemes suitable for attracting external investment. Develop and maintain a relationship with Homes England and other funding providers and deliver projects in accordance with grant conditions and contracts.
- To oversee the management of the housing stock, including appointing and contract managing the external property management company
- Ensure compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrable experience in housing development
- Experience within a Local Authority or Housing Association
- Programme and project management experience in a housing / development environment
- Experience of motivating and managing staff
- Contract management experience
- Experience of undertaking financial viability assessment associated with development work
Contract:
- 3 month rolling
- Complete Homeworking
- £350 - £450 a day (Outside IR35)
- Part or Full-time
