Senior Facilities Manager - London – £65,000 

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Facilities manager to be based in Central London across a cluster of buildings.

Experience in multi site management is essential and large building experience is desirable. You will need to have experience in large service charges and be confident in occupier engagement alongside direct team management.Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and M&E are vital. This role offers the chance to join a market leading Property Company across a vibrant setting while joining an excellent existing FM team.

This is paying circa £65,000 plus a generous package.

The Role

·To ensure the fabric of the building’s both externally and internally is maintained and serviced to a high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets.

  • Experience of working within multi-tenanted commercial properties in excess of 100,000sqft
  • Dealing with high profile tenants
  • Setting annual service charge budgets & monitoring expenditure
  • Liaising with clients and tenants on a daily basis to promote good relationships
  • Management of a team of onsite staff
  • Checking that all work by staff and contractors has been completed to a high standard
  • Responding quickly and professionally to all issues that arise on site(s)
  • Monitoring performance of contractors on site
  • Liaising with surveyors and building managers to promote best in class FM service delivery
  • Assistance on any small/medium project works
  • Completion of audits across various sites
  • Assisting in the production of reports

The Candidate

  • A track record of FM in multi-let office buildings. Experience in investor-FM helpful.
  • Experience across buildings of different ages and sizes
  • Dealing with occupiers through fit out and everyday occupation and what matters to them
  • Working knowledge of H&S, environmental and statutory regulations & working knowledge of FM in hard and soft services
  • Knowledge of networks, building management technology, industry software, compliance platforms and PO/invoice approval systems
  • Demonstrably strong customer service skills
  • Proven experience in service charge budgeting and understanding of RICS Codes
  • Implementing processes and procedures and bringing teams through to deliver them
  • Health and Safety (NEBOSH/IOSH)
  • IWFM Member
  • RICS (Facilities Management) or working towards it desirable
