Job Details

A Global Real Estate Fund Manager are looking to hire a reporting Analyst for the European team. You will provide support to the Portfolio Management team to deliver all reporting requirements to investment property throughout Europe. This will involve all aspects of Fund Reporting and Analysis including working with asset forecasting models and business plans, reviewing variance to budget analysis, producing property data reports.

 

Position responsibilities

•           Collating data provided by local European teams and producing consolidated Property Data Packs

•           Carrying out variance analysis on tenancy schedules and tracking leasing activities

•           Preparing monthly and quarterly investor reports in Excel and Power Point, including updating periodic results presentations

•           Providing asset and portfolio-level analysis as required by both internal and external stakeholders (Funds/Portfolio Management team, investors, banks).

•           Assisting Portfolio Management team in production and consolidation of annual business plan and cash flows

•           Monitoring monthly and quarterly Investment Performance Trackers (IPT), analysing variance of actuals to budget, and ensuring that forecasts are promptly and accurately updated each month/quarter

•           Joining asset management calls and asset hold / sell discussions, including other strategic discussions regarding the portfolio

•           Producing periodic asset risk / return analysis to support discussions regarding portfolio strategy

•           Assisting in the external valuation process by preparing relevant data for valuers and collating valuation information once received.

•           Supporting new asset onboarding process

•           Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting output by coordinating the local teams, proposing and developing improvements to existing business processes

•           Special projects including ad hoc data requests

•           Interaction with Portfolio Managers, Asset Managers, Financial Controllers and Analysts across Europe

Qualifications and Experience

•           Degree (2.1 minimum) in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or Business

•           MRICS or other Chartered Surveyor qualification an advantage

•           Previous property and/or funds management experience

•           Proficient in Microsoft Applications – specifically Excel

•           Excellent data analysis skills, highly numerate and with a commercial mindset

•           Ability to draw conclusions and prepare written findings and presentations; ability to evaluate and determine asset and fund performance under a variety of scenarios using Excel modelling as a primary tool

•           Strong Excel modelling skills

•           Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and in different cultural contexts

•           Strong attention to detail and accuracy

•           Ability to independently schedule tasks, prioritise them when necessary, and gather required data, resources and materials to meet deadlines

•           High level of integrity and discretion

•           Dynamic, positive and enthusiastic

•           Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, to an advanced level

•           Fluent in another European language an advantage
