London is calling!

And it’s calling for a permanent role. – Senior Surveyor.

Being interim isn’t for everyone, some people like the stability, and that’s exactly whats on offer here.

A local authority covering one of London’s largest boroughs needs an Estates Surveyor to join the team. The ideal start date is June, but they can wait longer for the person they want.

This council boasts a large and varied property portfolio. Retail shops, leisure centers, nurseries, and agricultural land. The Property services team is in charge of managing this portfolio, and you could be the latest addition.

Your work will include rent reviews, lease renewals, marketing, letting of property, dilapidations and the list goes on. There will be a focus on asset valuation, and detailed reports, with a special focus on retail.

If you are RICS and have over x2 years of PQE this will be helpful, however, it isn’t necessary for the role.

This authority operates with a work from home policy, asking you to come in from time to time to deal with the inspections. If you don’t have your own car, the council offers a vehicle for you to use.

The salary offers up to £50,700 a year, not forgetting the pension on offer and 26 days of annual leave.
