Job Details
A prestigious industrial and logistics investor and developer are currently seeking an Associate Director Development Manager to join their team based in Thames Valley/London.
You will be responsible for working closely with the Director to appraise and deliver pre-let and speculative projects in accordance with the agreed business unit development strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of planning and development strategies.
- Liaise with the Asset Management and Leasing teams to seek and deliver development opportunities.
- Identify development opportunities and prepare appraisals and cash-flows to demonstrate project viability, prepare board papers to secure capital approval for speculative and pre-let schemes.
- Embrace and implement best practice and enhance sustainability performance.
- Undertake the preparation of planning applications and negotiations.
- Provide regular updates and report on scheme costs and build timescales.
- Development and measure returns (profit and cost/IRR).
Key Development Management Requirements:
- Degree qualified and Member of RICS.
- Commercial property development experience is essential.
- Knowledge of the planning process.
- Competent user of Argus Developer, Excel and other DCF techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Office based in Thames Valley/Central London, they also offer a split of working from home.
Salary will range from £70,000 - £90,000 plus car allowance, benefits and discretionary bonus.
