Director - Property Manager

Cobalt is working exclusively with an Industrial Investment Manager who are focused on the development and acquisition of industrial assets across the UK. They are looking to grow their internal team with a Director of Property Management (equivalent to Senior/AD Property Manager level).

This role will report into the Head of UK and will be responsible for delivering the best in class occupier experience, whilst managing the financial and operational aspects of their UK industrial portfolio.

Key Property Management responsibilities include:

• First point of contact for occupiers and proactively identify current and future needs.
• Resolve building and service charge issues.
• Find creative and effective ways to improve occupier experience.
• Handle financial operations, including the review of monthly financial statements.
• Develop annual property expense budgets and approval for each property.
• Complete operational budgets.
• Manage lease renewals.
• Proactively manage the building assets and surrounding properties by conducting regular inspections to maintain the portfolio including preventative maintenance, service and repairs.
• Ensure all properties are maintained in line with sustainability and the associated standards.

Key Property Management requirements include:

• MRICS is preferred but not essential.
• Proven commercial property management experience within the industrial market is ideal but not essential.
• Excellent occupier management skills.
• Excellent written and communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Salary is £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits package.

Office is based in London with flexibility to work from home and conduct site visits.
