Estate Manager

My client is a market leader with a large quality portfolio within the hospitality/leisure sector.

Reporting to the Head of Estate, you will be looking after the company regional portfolio. You will be responsible for maximising value through disposal of assets, reviewing and supporting the annual re-valuation exercise. This is a field-based role across the southeast region with some proportion in their HO in the midlands. They are looking for an individual with a proven experience in successfully managing a large property portfolio.

The role:

• Effectively managing your region portfolio of freehold & leasehold assets

• Facilitate the disposal of appropriate property assets
• Proactive in extracting value from alternative use and development (HAUV) opportunities
• Identification and realisation of the annual disposal proceeds target
• Regularly reviewing under-performing asset
• Adopt a rigorous and appropriate approach to Health & Safety management
• Flexible in supporting the Estate Surveyor workload as required
• Support the operations teams with general estate management matters
• Liaise with multiple teams across the region including operators, third party suppliers & agencies

The candidate

• Excellent communication, reporting, financial & negotiation skill
• Result driven, creative, strategic thinker and problem solver
• Relevant experience in landlord and tenant estate management in commercial real estate - licenced premises or retail ideally
• RICS charted surveyor with 8 years post qualification experience
