Head of Debt Advisory - Real Estate

Our client is an established and highly successful transactional services business with strong bases of work in the UK and USA, with key offices in London and New York. Their specialisation is brokerage and investment advisory dedicated to niche real estate related services. There are strong teams in all locations who have built up an enviable reputation focusing on the sale and financing of individual assets and portfolios as well as being experts in operator selection.

They are now looking to further expand the business by appointing someone to spearhead a new Debt Advisory & Capital Markets division in the UK, to follow the huge success that the counterparts in the USA are having with this initiative.

The Key Requirements for the Successful Candidate will be to :

- Show considerable experience in real estate lending, either as an adviser, banker or principal

- Know the main real estate lenders

- Be London based but be prepared to travel around Europe

- Have a strong background in commercial real estate and/or hotels & leisure.

- Be able to generate and execute business as well as managing small dynamic teams of analysts and other professional people

- Be ideally a rising star
