Asset Manager

A privately owned UK property and investment company is currently seeking a strategic hands-on Asset Manager to join their team based in Central London.

This is a varied role where you will be responsible for managing a mixed portfolio, including industrial and retail assets.

The key Asset Management responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the Asset Management of a predominantly retail and industrial portfolio.
• Landlord and tenant work, including lease renewals, and reviews to best conclusion.
• Management of vacant units, including refurbishment, dilapidation's and negotiating lease terms.
• Identification of potential development opportunities and ability to undertake appraisal analysis.
• Work with the Estate Management team on the day to day property management, including tenant liaison, estate repairs and maintenance.
• Work with the accounts team on service charge budgeting and expenditure management.

Key Asset Management Requirements:

• Member of RICS.
• Previous commercial/retail agency, L&T, property management or asset management experience is essential.
• This individual must be commercially minded and have the ability to negotiate and maintain strong business relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently working in an Asset Management position or someone looking to move from agency to client side.

Salary is up to £50,000 per annum plus car/car allowance, benefits and discretionary bonus.

Office is based in Central London.
