Clientside Asset / Investment Manager - Office Portfolio

Entrepreneurial and opportunistic Asset Management platform, with a focus on buying well located institutional quality Offices and Business Parks in the UK, are undergoing a significant growth phase (both in terms of being very acquisitive and also growing their team). They buy core plus and value add and have recently launched a new fund. They now need a bright, articulate and very numerate Asset/Investment Manager with circa 1 - 4 years PQE to support the more experienced members of the team. The role is end to end, and includes full involvement with Origination, Underwriting, Due Diligence, presenting to the Investment Committee, through to the delivery of very hands on Asset Management initiatives - they really work each property through refurbishments, repositioning, lease re-gears, strong lettings campaigns, etc and have been very successful at this previous funds so their track record is solid.

They are ideally looking for someone who is currently working for an well regarded RE Advisory firm, looking to make their first clientside move. MRICS is essential and candidates should have undertaken varied rotations as part of their APC, including the likes of Commercial Valuations, Agency, L&T, Investment, etc. Ideal candidates will now be part of a Valuations or Investment team, and experience should include regional property as well as, or instead of being London centric.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to move into a clientside role, with a very well regarded team, and the career progression would be eventual Fund Management.

Requirements

• MRICS is essential, with circa 1 - 4 years PQE
• Varied APC rotations included two of the following – Commercial Valuations, Agency, L&T, Investment, Property Management, Recovery
• High level of numeracy, including good working knowledge of Excel
• Ideal sector experience is either Offices and/or Business Parks
