Top tier international Private Equity firm are looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious Portfolio Manager to join their Operational Reporting Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the role carries with it significant responsibility in managing processes for delivering internal management information and analysis, and third-party investor reporting across their various Funds. They have a number of JV Partners and also report quarterly to the market, and this role is integral to all of these processes.

The responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to reporting to the following stakeholders:

 

  • Supporting Head of Operational Reporting and CFO to fulfil all European reporting and management information requirements
  • Provision of periodic management information on the portfolio and any ad hoc requests to assist US Executive with investor relations, strategic decision making and public company reporting requirements
  • Taking responsibility for managing the delivery of quarterly management reporting to third-party investors and/or lenders
  • Fund reporting, modelling and analysis including liaising with internal treasury team
  • Assisting with the relationship management for both debt and equity investment partners
  • Ad hoc queries and analysis from global investor relations team
  • Provision of periodic management information on the portfolio and ad hoc analysis
  • Overseeing the quarterly valuation process and providing portfolio analysis to management
  • Managing annual Business Planning process and presentation to Senior management
  • Assisting with quarterly global supplemental reporting (public company earnings release) for the European portfolio
  • Global investment partner reporting
  • Liaising on acquisitions pipelines and onboarding completed acquisitions to portfolio database
  • Finance & Treasury
  • Data provision, reconciliations, and assistance with US GAAP and IFRS asset reporting and performance measurement

Person Specification:

  • Excellent communicator who is confident and able to interact at all levels within an organisation
  • Well organised with a proven ability to plan and stay organised
  • Strong ability to build interpersonal relationships
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism
  • Has a mindset of looking for ways to constantly improve process

Key skill requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a similar role for a Real Estate Asset Manager/Fund
  • Third level qualification in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Engineering or Mathematical discipline.
  • Advanced Excel skills alongside an analytical mindset
