We are working with a reputable property consultancy who are looking to onboard an experienced Facilities Manager into their Birmingham team, responsible for the efficient and effective management of a portfolio of commercial office property across the Midlands.

The successful candidate will work autonomously, reporting to the senior property management team and be proactive in managing relationships with contractors, occupiers, and other key stakeholders.

What experience is required?

  • 3-5 years in a multi-site or regional facilities management position
  • Preparation, management, and reconciliation of service charge budgets
  • Procurement and tendering of contracted services
  • Management of hard and soft service provisions
  • Strong understanding of M&E
  • Knowledge and previous experience of CAFM, BMS and Health & Safety systems
  • Implementation and instruction of planned preventative maintenance schedules
  • Major and minor project management, including fit outs and mobilisation
  • High level of computer literacy and numerical skills
  • IOSH (essential) and NEBOSH (desirable)
