Asset Manager - UK Prime Office Portfolio

Global Investment Manager with a rapidly expanding portfolio across the UK and Europe are looking for an Asset Manager to focus on their UK commercial portfolio, with input into their European AUM. Initially the role will predominantly focus on prime London assets, with lots of value add opportunities as well as looking after assets in Ireland. The asset management role is extremely broad and candidates will be involved in all parts of a buildings life cycle; from working with the deal teams at acquisition, undertaking due diligence and business plan formation, running refurbishment projects and leasing campaigns, lease regears, setting tenant mix strategy and helping to deliver the development and execution of exit strategies.

The roles involves providing support to senior people within the business to facilitate the effective delivery of wider portfolio plans. This will include tracking and analysing asset performance, as well as undertaking project reforecasts using Excel based financial models. An ability to coherently present how events “on the ground” are impacting the numbers will be critical to succeeding and progression in the role.

Requirements:

• A strong grasp of the drivers of property returns
• Good financial modelling skills, being able to build financial models from scratch in excel is essential
• Analytically rigorous and detail orientated, particularly with regards to numerical analysis and written reports
• Able to synthesize complex matters effectively and concisely
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Have an enthusiastic and tenacious approach with a strong commitment to learning
• Able to manage involvement in a number of simultaneous initiatives, deliver work to agreed deadlines and work well with a variety of individuals across a complex and evolving business
• Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
