Salary: BR11 / £35,041 pa

The Junior Surveyor will join the Estates and Asset Management team with specific responsibility for helping to manage the Council’s commercial property portfolio effectively and efficiently and to maximise revenue returns and lease compliance.

We are looking for proactive and collaborative individuals who are eager to learn, and who take a solutions-based approach to projects. As a team our core objectives are to ensure that the Council’s estate is used to best support the achievement of the Council’s strategic priorities and organisational objectives.

The successful candidate will be able to apply their professional skills under pressure to support the team in carrying out the acquisition, disposal, letting, valuation and management of a wide range of commercial properties and will utilise our Estates Management software to organise and record their work.

The team can offer training and support on the job, and if candidates wish to undertake their APC to become a Chartered Surveyor whilst in post this can be facilitated.
