Commercial Manager, 5 Star Housebuilder

We have been instructed to appoint a Commercial Manager on behalf of a major developer who focuses on traditional housing and some urban developments across West London and Home Counties. The role will be responsible for delivering high quality yet cost-effective building, including quantity surveying, estimating, procurement and material buying. With a watching brief on choice of material, cost, customer satisfaction and sales, and other critical issues.

Key aspects:

• Support site development ensuring targets are achieved by ensuring/managing: Commercial cost appraisals and viability/ feasibility analysis; the procurement of sub-contractors, materials and goods and the preparation and monitoring of site costs and budgets
• Delivery of high-quality residential schemes
• Coach and mentor the team

We are keen to speak with ambitious commercial managers or senior quantity surveyors with direct management experience. You will be highly credible and able to manage a broad range of stakeholders with a background in delivering high quality residential schemes for major developers.
