Salary £45,000 plus car, bonus and excellent benefits package

Cognisant are delighted to be working with a leading housebuilder with an enviable reputation, who are currently expanding their team based in Hertfordshire. Working closely with the Senior Land Manager, the Land Buyer role will be focused on procuring viable and profitable land from Cambridge to Kent initially as the region grows.

Key aspects:

• Identifying new land and joint venture opportunities and JV opportunities and presenting to senior colleagues for authorisation
• Processing and managing offers, liaising and negotiating with agents, lawyers and local authorities, agents and lawyers
• Working with various internal teams (commercial, sales, pre-construction) teams and external consultants, monitoring site progress closely
• Negotiating agreements with lawyers and third parties

We are keen to speak to individuals with prior land buying experience with a developer or housing association. You will have excellent geographical knowledge of the Kent and Eastern areas, and you will be a confident communicator with fantastic negotiation skills.
