Capital Projects Manager

Oundle School

£60,000 (3 Year FTC)

Would you like to work client side?

Looking to make the transition but can’t find the right organisation or enough project work?

How about the opportunity to work for one of Britain’s largest and leading co-educational boarding and day schools, leading major capital projects with a Director who has not long made the jump from the commercial world themselves.

With 160 prestigious listed buildings across 250 acres, this isn’t your average school.

Situated in a charming town in Northamptonshire, their portfolio not only consists of historic buildings such as Cloisters and the Chapel, but also their £24 million Sports Centre opened in 2020 and taking state-of-the-art facilities next level for modern education.

The School are constantly growing, with plans to expand further. This is where you come in.

You’ll take a lead on both the redevelopment of an old primary school to a 60 bed girls boarding house (£12m), and a large day house refurbishment housing 240 pupils (£2m). As the backbone of the entire programme, responsibilities span to cover all areas of project management from inception to completion.

If you have a track record in delivering complex construction projects and are a natural with stakeholder engagement, then this role is for you.

This position will be on an initial 3-year fixed term contract, which will give you added flexibility.

As a member of staff at Oundle, you are rewarded with a generous pension and annual leave, use of all their leading sport facilities, a free lunch. Oundle can also offer flexible working.

If you’re looking to take that next step in your project management career, apply now or drop me a message on LinkedIn (Sasha Brown) for an informal chat.
