Cognisant Search has been instructed to appoint a Design Manager on behalf of a well-funded, high-quality new homes developer. The company have a well-deserved reputation for the quality of their homes, and you will have total design oversight for the product. Responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for all design aspects, using both internal and external resource
  • You have a practical appreciation of both how a property is put together and of its aesthetic appeal
  • You are proficient with CAD and can produce designs that are relevant, attractive, and “work” in real world environments
  • You are effectively the design custodian of the company’s product

We are keen to speak with architects and architectural technicians (AT’s) who may currently work in practice or for other developers. You have a good balance of practicality alongside a real design flair. You are a team player and want to have the ability to really set and influence the design quality of the business.
