Cognisant are currently working with a highly agile, fantastically well-funded property developer, who focus on undertaking the redevelopment of existing, city centre apartments whilst promoting sustainability solutions. They are currently looking for an Associate Director of Investment Management to join their Manchester city centre office, supporting the Managing Director in evaluating and executing potential investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the review and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements
• Conducting valuation analysis of target investment opportunities, and analysing risk factors
• Managing a professional and organised due diligence process for each asset
• Develop, expand, and maintain external relationships with key market participants and investment brokers

You will ideally hold a finance or real estate related degree, with at least 8 years’ experience in real estate / fund investment or asset management. You will have excellent communication and risk management skills, with exceptional knowledge of the UK property market. Occasional travel may be required for the role.
