Strategic Property Asset Manager

Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) is passionate about providing high quality services to our communities, residents and businesses. This means we need to employ and retain the most talented and dedicated people.

Situated within the heart of the Cambridge-Peterborough Growth Area, Huntingdonshire is a beautiful district that boasts thriving market towns and many attractive villages, each with its own identity. We are an innovative and forward-thinking local authority whose residents are at the heart of our decision-making.

We are seeking a Strategic Property Asset Manager to lead the Commercial Estates Team.

As a Chartered Surveyor you will have a wealth of experience in managing an investment property portfolio of commercial property assets primarily to drive revenue income.

You will lead a professional team, handle complex and high value property capital and revenue transactions, hold budget-holder responsibility as well as providing strategic direction and advice on property and leasing matters across all council services and the operational estate. You will have the flexibility to adapt to a fast paced and changing workload, leading the way in establishing the Asset Strategy, but having an eye for detail to ensure our Asset Plans and budget are delivered and opportunities are followed through to successful conclusion. This role will also collaborate with other council service teams and stakeholders to continuously improve service delivery

We’d love to hear from you if you have the knowledge, skills and depth of experience to build on the strong foundations and further develop the Commercial Estates team.
