Our client is a major developer of large-scale, mixed-use sites which include residential, logistics, industrial and commercial uses. The business is highly entrepreneurial, financially very strong and is undertaking a period of sustainable growth. Due to workload increases they wish to appoint a highly experienced Development Director who can lead a portfolio of large-scale development projects, plus mentor less experienced members of the team.

Key aspects:

• Responsible for the effective development/stakeholder management and delivery of strategically important, mixed-use schemes
• Offer leadership and drive to the internal/external, multidisciplinary teams to ensure that they are motivated, timely and delivery focused
• Be highly market facing, understanding the potential, the trends/requirements and become a trusted partner with both occupiers and clients
• Mentor and guide less experienced members of the team, utilising your hard-won expertise and track record

We are seeking a very experienced Development Director with a demonstrable track-record of success, you are entrepreneurial, a team player and have delivered major mixed-use, industrial, and commercial product. You will be given the freedom to get on with your role, and in return you will lead a portfolio of highly significant projects though to delivery. This opportunity would suit both a full-time appointment or indeed a candidate who wishes to reduce their working week, whilst still playing a key role.
