Leeds Federated currently manages around 4,500 homes across Leeds, Wakefield and North Yorkshire. We exist to help people to find an affordable home to own or rent where they are not able to afford to do so on the open market. Our three main objectives are to:

This is a new role within the organisation, created to add capacity as part of our senior management team and to bring focus on our assets and development portfolios.
As Director of Assets and Development, you’ll work with your team to ensure high professional standards support successful asset and development strategies. This work will directly impact our customers by providing safe, good quality homes with an effective repairs and maintenance programme to maintain these standards over time. Your strategic focus on development will ensure that new homes meet customer requirements and are delivered in a timely manner. You’ll also manage the operational and commercial risks associated with housebuilding effectively.
Highly effective leadership skills will be a key attribute – enabling you to draw the best from colleagues and set ambitious targets that people can get behind. You’ll have sound professional knowledge and experience of leading and creating strategies for assets and development.; this will include proven experience of budget management and a good understanding of relevant policies, regulatory and legal requirements.
