Park Avenue are representing a Local Authority in the East Midlands who require an Interim Estates Manager to join their team.

  • £450 - £500 per day
  • Hybrid working. In the office 2 days per week
  • 3-month contract

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate acquisitions, disposals, and lettings of land and property. Including undertaking rent reviews, overseeing lease renewals, agreeing easements; wayleaves etc.
  • Ensure that the end of year programme of Capital Asset valuations of land and property are carried out in accordance with RICS and CIPFA requirements (undertaken by an external valuer)
  • Provide expert estate and asset management advice on behalf of the Borough Council and undertake the day-to-day estate management (including overseeing property maintenance activities, tenant issues etc) in respect of the Council's land, investment, and operational portfolio
  • Manage 2 x Property Officers (one is hoping to work towards their RICS, so would appreciate support in some areas!)

The Council are hoping to interview next week, with the idea to get you started 1-2 weeks after this. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running as they are a very busy council!
