Cognisant Search has been appointed to recruit an experienced Managing Director on behalf of a major housebuilder. Based in the East Midlands, you will have a proven track record of growing a regional business, through significant land acquisition, whilst leading and motivating an established team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a highly successful award-winning housebuilder that has significant funding to grow their land bank.

Key aspects:

• Continued growth and development of the region in line with the business plan
• Develop relationships with external partners, including landowners, local authorities, consultants
• Continue to deliver a culture of achievement, ensuring quality of product, cost control, programme adherence and deliver outstanding customer service
• Be highly visible within the business, seeing challenges first hand and leading from the front
• Ensure all functions are operationally effective and working as a team to deliver a high-quality product
• Continued development of a progressive senior team ensuring they achieve their potential

You will be an experienced Managing Director, with a background in land, who has a demonstrable track record of leading and delivering business strategy. You will be a strong motivator who can develop team members to drive volume and deliver excellence. A highly effective communicator, you are passionate not only about the performance of the business but the people in it.
