Client Side Asset Management – London/Hybrid – Up to £100,000 + Benefits Package

A leading Investment management business in London is looking to recruit an Asset Manager to join their Alternatives Team.  This role is a London/Hybrid mix where you will be responsible for the management of portfolios within a number of specialist sectors including but not limited to Housing, BTR, Retirement Living, Hospitality, Hotels, Healthcare across UK & Europe.  This role will ideally suit a candidate who currently has a wealth of Asset Management experience combined with operational, P&L experience.   The role is offering up to £100,000 Per Annum with an extensive benefits package.

The Role:

  • Formulate & execute asset management strategies for the Residential portfolio
  • Implement plans to optimise income & occupancy
  • Responsible for the positioning of assets as well as the enhancement of cash flow and asset value
  • Managing annual budgets and covering the financial performance of the assets
  • Assist the portfolio managers on the transaction process & transactional underwriting
  • Work with strategic Agents & operating partners to understand market trends, values & competitions
  • Ensure compliance with ESH policy in asset management
  • Monitor key reporting line with with ESG framework & NZC strategy
  • Enhance sustainability of assets
  • Assist with the management of existing operations within the hospitality sector
  • Design & implement Asset management business plans – including research, modelling & carrying out due diligence
  • Continuous implementation of Value Add initiatives across all assets
  • Assist in the fund and asset level reporting both internally and externally
  • Identify & capture operational data to help understand investment performance & occupier demographic
  • Analyse & review customer activities to understand occupier trends & identify ways to improve services through asset management delivery
  • Maintain in-house data on performance of properties
  • Interest in Prop-tech to drive constant improvement & effectiveness for the assets

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Exposure to working within the Alternative sector – BTR, Housing, Student Accommodation, Hospitality, Hotels, Healthcare, Retirement Living – All sectors are not essential 
  • Strong awareness of the Asset Management function with Investment acumen
  • Understanding of Property Management, Leasing & Development particularly for operational assets
  • Exposure to working within European markets is desirable
  • Good verbal & written communication skills Ability to work Collaboratively BA or BSc Degree with a strong numerical aptitude
  • Strong numeracy, financial and computer skills including MS Excel Understanding and interest in sustainability within the Property industry
