Property Manager - Chelsea & South Kensington
Our client, a highly regarded independent residential property management business is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join a respected and well known team based in Chelsea. As a company, they are known for delivering excellence and work with some of the finest properties in Prime Central London making this a very attractive opportunity.
As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for the general management and administration of your property management portfolio making this a vital role in the business. You will be working with the negotiators, progressing managed lets and assisting the team to secure new stock and ensuring that you are maintaining a high standard of service for managed clients whilst at all times following ARLA guidelines.
This role will involve:
- Tenant & landlord liaison
- Routine maintenance, decoration, repairs
- Prepare managed properties for letting & communication to team regarding works/activity updates
- Accurate updates on IT system & management of client accounts
- Deposit releases/negotiation for all properties
- Organise additional works for managed & non managed clients such as refurbishment
- Actively expand contractor base, obtaining necessary insurance & qualification documents
You will need to have the following experience:
- 4 years minimum experience in residential property management
- A broad knowledge of property management issues and solutions
- Be customer focussed at all times
- Ability to work under pressure and spin multiple plates at once
- A smart appearance and professional approach is essential
- Be an effective Team Player
- Accurate typing & data inputting skills
- Ability to effectively use Word & Excel, Outlook and appropriate software
- Proactive with good time-management abilities
- Excellent standard of English and numeracy
- To be motivated by excellence
- MARLA qualified advantageous
- Full and Clean driving licence
