About the Role: Our client is embarking on a significant refurbishment of a listed country house hotel near Heathrow, and we're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join the client team.


This role presents a unique opportunity for an ambitious project/ QS  / construction professional to contribute to the successful delivery of a once-in-a-lifetime trophy asset. This role will be predominantly site based and you must have UK experience.


Responsibilities: As the Project Manager, you will report to the Commercial Director and be responsible for monitoring the design process, development budget, relationships with external project managers and design teams. Key responsibilities include overseeing Planning Applications, Tender Processes, and Cost Plans, as well as managing live construction projects for time, cost, quality, and safety.



  • Experience in Design/Build, including design management or bid management.
  • Strong cost control and reporting.
  • Previous experience with refurbishment and new build projects.
  • Proven ability to manage a small team of designers or estimators.
  • Strong organizational and numerical negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work largely unsupervised with confidence in your own abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective time management to handle all project-related matters.
  • Clear strategic thinking with a proven track record in delivering projects to deadline and within budget.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment with high growth ambitions.
