Greencore Homes is an innovative housebuilder dedicated to delivering high-quality, sustainable homes that are energy efficient, net zero carbon in operation and ultra low embodied carbon. The equity investment into Greencore has been made by M&G’s Catalyst team, which is investing up to £5 billion into privately-owned businesses working to create a more sustainable world. Catalyst’s capital will allow Greencore to scale its operations nationwide with the goal being to deliver over 10,000 Climate Positive homes by 2035. As Partnerships and Investment Director, you will be at the helm of driving growth and forging strategic partnerships. From securing land opportunities to managing transactions with institutional investors, your leadership will be pivotal in shaping Greencore’s future success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships with landowners, local authorities, and housing associations to secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Transactions Management: Oversee end-to-end processes for land purchases, including transactions with housing associations and institutional investors.
• Land Identification and Acquisition: Identify suitable land opportunities, evaluate feasibility, and negotiate acquisitions to support the growth strategy.
• Analysis and Risk Management: Mitigate risks and ensure robust financial appraisals for land transactions.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the land team, fostering a collaborative culture and providing strategic direction.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience of a partnerships based approach to securing new opportunities.
• Experience of transacting with Housing Associations and institutional funds.
• Senior leadership experience within the housebuilding industry with a proven track record of land identification, acquisition, and disposal.
• In-depth understanding of planning policies, legal frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to land development.
