Senior Surveyor - London Hybrid - Up to £49,000 + Car Allowance

An exciting opportunity to work on a large retail estate in London as a Senior Surveyor delivering best in class service with a competitive salary and hybrid work scheme. The successful candidate can expect to play a significant role in the existing team with opportunities to build and develop their career.

Job Role:

• Play a crucial role in developing team talent and driving initiatives.
• Build strong working relationships with existing clients.
• Draft, review, and approve service charge budgets.
• Review and implement customized business/action plans for each asset.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
• Address tenant and client queries promptly and efficiently.
• Regularly review service charge cash flow and budgets.
• Approve service charge reconciliations.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
• Ensure accurate client reports are prepared to specifications and issued on schedule, with approval from the line manager as needed.
• Conduct regular property inspections and foster relationships with occupiers.
• Approve purchase orders and ensure correct coding of expenditures in line with budgets.
• Take a proactive, hands-on approach to property management.

Skills:

• MRICS Qualified
• Skills and Knowledge
• Technical experience
• Be a team player, and ability to lead and support junior members of the team
• Be adaptable and above all keen and enthusiastic
• Have a high attention to detail, well organised and a good initiative
• Ability to work with relatively high degree of autonomy with minimal supervision
• A desire to progress
• Excellent IT, problem solving, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal and managerial skills
• Show a practical common sense approach to management
• Ability to deal with challenging mandates and coping with a high work load
• Full, clean driving licence
