Client Direct – Facilities & Compliance Manager – Residential Development – South West London – Up to £65k Per Annum
A leading Property Management / Development company is looking to recruit a Facilities & Compliance manager on one of their high end developments in South West London. You will be responsible for the management of the contract as well as taking an overview on Health & Safety matters and compliance. You will work closely with all the on-site team ensuring high quality service levels are met.
The development is a mixed use scheme comprising of predominately private residential space with retail & commercial units. This is a site based role 5 days a week offering a salary of up to £65,000 Per Annum.
Job Role:
- Working closely with the property manager to ensure the smooth running of the development
- Ensure all compliance matters including health & safety audits are up to date
- Build and manage relationships with residents & stakeholders
- Handle estate requests from residents
- Assist with monthly reporting on the estate
- Manage and ensure Health & safety policies and procedures are maintained
- Ensure the daily log is maintained for any incidents
- Assist in reviewing and managing the operating budgets and the service charge
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of workplace facilities management
- Overseeing relationships with commercial tenants and dealing with maintenance faults of occupiers
- Logging all maintenance issues and ensuring subsequent updates
- Instructing works and managing contractors through to completion
- Working knowledge of the Health & Safety work act
Skills Required
- Previous experience as a Facilities / Estates Manager
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Estate & project management exposure
- Understanding of service charge budget & management
- Experience of H&S / Fire Safety systems
- Residential experience is preferred however the client will consider candidates from a strong building management / development management background
- Knowledge of the building Safety act 2022
